Roma A. Struck

Roma A. Struck, 73, of Du Quoin, passed away at 7:20 P.M., Monday, November 17, 2003 at Fair Acres Nursing Home in Du Quoin.
Roma worked as a seamstress at Forrest City Garment Company.  She was a member of Old Du Quoin Baptist Church, Garment Workers Club, and Silver Threads.
She was born April 23, 1930 at Thompsonville, IL, the daughter of Roman and Hazel (Hall) Waller.
She married Robert Struck on January 31, 1970 at Du Quoin, IL and he preceded her in death on December 27, 1991.
She is survived by four sisters - Wilma Lorene Bernhard of Du Quoin, Wanda Preston of Bradley, IL, Mary Kuhnert of Tamaroa, and Martha Dean of Du Quoin, three brothers - James Waller of Du Quoin, Tom Waller of Du Quoin, and Billy Waller of Woodlawn, IL, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son - Billy Ray Quinn, one brother - Charles Kenneth Waller, and one sister - Ula Maxine Cutwright.
Funeral services were at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, November 20, 2003 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Carl Mesiti officiating.
Friends called from 5 to 8 P.M., Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Interment was in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.
